Return & Refund Policy
Because most products and services provided by Da Mouse Trap Graphics are custom-made specifically for each customer, returns, cancellations, refunds, and replacements are handled differently from standard retail purchases.
Our Return Policy
Da Mouse Trap Graphics specializes in custom design, printing, apparel decoration, signs, banners, graphics, fabrication, and related creative services.
Because our products are created specifically according to each customer’s specifications, custom orders are generally not eligible for traditional returns or refunds once production has begun.
We stand behind our workmanship. If Da Mouse Trap Graphics makes a verified production error, our standard remedy is to correct or reproduce the affected product rather than issue a monetary refund.
Custom Products Are Final Sale
All custom products are considered final sale once production has begun.
Custom products may include, but are not limited to:
- Screen-printed apparel
- DTF printed apparel and transfers
- Heat-transfer products
- Custom garments
- Banners
- Signs
- Decals
- Vinyl graphics
- Stickers
- Printed promotional products
- Custom fabricated products
- Custom graphic products
- Other made-to-order products
Once materials have been ordered or production has begun, the order cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded because the product has been created or purchased specifically for that customer’s order.
Design & Creative Services
Payments made for design and creative services are non-refundable once work has begun.
These services may include:
- Logo design
- Graphic design
- Artwork preparation
- Vectorization
- Mockups
- Website design
- Layout work
- Artwork revisions
- Production setup
- Screen preparation
- Digital file preparation
- Other creative or technical services
Design fees compensate Da Mouse Trap Graphics for time, labor, planning, creative development, revisions, and technical preparation and therefore are not refundable after work begins.
Deposits & Payment Requirements
Most projects require a deposit before materials are ordered or production begins.
The required deposit may vary depending on the project, material requirements, production schedule, and other circumstances.
Certain orders, including rush orders, may require payment in full before production begins.
Once Da Mouse Trap Graphics has ordered materials, performed design work, committed production time, or begun production, payments covering those costs and services are non-refundable.
Any remaining balance must be paid according to the terms provided on the customer’s quote, invoice, order agreement, or other written agreement.
Artwork & Customer Approval
Customer approval of artwork, proofs, mockups, specifications, or production details constitutes authorization for Da Mouse Trap Graphics to begin or continue production.
Approval may be provided verbally, electronically, through email, text message, invoice approval, signed agreement, or other documented communication.
Before approving a design, the customer is responsible for reviewing all relevant details, including:
- Spelling
- Grammar
- Names and numbers
- Colors
- Artwork placement
- Artwork size
- Garment sizes
- Quantities
- Dimensions
- Product specifications
- Contact information
- Other project details
Once the customer has verbally or contractually approved the final design or production specifications, Da Mouse Trap Graphics will not be responsible for changes, corrections, or preferences requested after production begins.
Changes requested after approval may require additional design, material, setup, or production charges.
Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled before materials have been ordered and before production-related work has begun.
If materials have already been purchased specifically for the customer’s project, the cost of those materials is non-refundable.
Any completed design, artwork preparation, setup work, or other services performed before cancellation remain billable and non-refundable.
A cancellation does not automatically entitle the customer to a full refund if Da Mouse Trap Graphics has already incurred costs or performed work related to the order.
Production Errors & Reprints
If Da Mouse Trap Graphics makes a verified production error, we will work to correct the problem.
Our primary remedy for a production error is a replacement, correction, or reprint of the affected item.
Monetary refunds are generally not provided when a replacement or reprint can reasonably correct the issue.
A production error may include situations where the completed item materially differs from the customer-approved artwork, specifications, quantity, or production instructions due to an error made by Da Mouse Trap Graphics.
Customer-Approved Errors
Errors that were present in artwork, specifications, spelling, sizing, placement, colors, quantities, or other details approved by the customer are not considered production errors by Da Mouse Trap Graphics.
Inspection at Pickup
Customers are expected to inspect their completed order at the time of pickup whenever reasonably possible.
Any visible printing, quantity, placement, garment, fabrication, or production concerns should be brought to our attention before the customer leaves with the order.
Da Mouse Trap Graphics will review any reported issue to determine whether it resulted from a production error and whether a correction or reprint is appropriate.
Issues resulting from ordinary wear, improper washing, misuse, damage after pickup, or circumstances outside of our control are not considered production defects.
Customer-Supplied Garments & Materials
Customers may choose to provide their own garments, products, or materials for printing, decoration, fabrication, or other work.
Customer-supplied items are accepted and processed at the customer’s discretion and risk.
Unless the garment or material was purchased or supplied by Da Mouse Trap Graphics, we cannot guarantee its compatibility with our printing, pressing, curing, fabrication, or production methods.
Da Mouse Trap Graphics is not responsible for replacement costs associated with customer-supplied garments or materials that are damaged, react unexpectedly, shrink, discolor, scorch, bleed, warp, fail during production, or otherwise prove unsuitable for the requested process.
When Da Mouse Trap Graphics supplies the garments or materials, responsibility for verified production errors will be handled according to the Production Errors & Reprints section of this policy.
Color & Production Variations
Customers should understand that colors displayed on phones, monitors, tablets, printed proofs, and digital mockups may appear differently from colors produced on a finished physical product.
Color appearance can vary depending on:
- Screen printing
- Direct-to-film printing
- Heat transfer
- Vinyl
- Digital printing
- Ink type
- Material color
- Material texture
- Fabric composition
- Lighting
- Display calibration
- Production method
Reasonable variations in color, texture, placement, or appearance that result from differences in materials or production methods are not considered defects.
Shipping & Delivery
Most Da Mouse Trap Graphics orders are intended for local pickup, although shipping may be available for certain projects.
If a verified production error made by Da Mouse Trap Graphics requires an item to be returned or replaced by shipping, Da Mouse Trap Graphics will cover reasonable shipping costs associated with correcting that error.
Shipping expenses resulting from customer-requested changes, incorrect customer-provided information, approved artwork errors, or other circumstances not caused by Da Mouse Trap Graphics are the customer’s responsibility.
Completed & Abandoned Orders
Customers are responsible for picking up completed orders within a reasonable period after being notified that the order is ready.
Orders that remain unclaimed for three months after completion or notification of completion may be considered abandoned.
After an order is considered abandoned, Da Mouse Trap Graphics may dispose of, recycle, donate, or otherwise remove the products or materials without refund or replacement.
Any unpaid balance associated with an abandoned order remains due unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
Customers who believe there is an error with an order, invoice, payment, or completed project are encouraged to contact Da Mouse Trap Graphics directly so that we can review and attempt to resolve the issue.
Filing a chargeback does not automatically cancel an order, invalidate an approved project, or eliminate amounts legitimately owed for materials, design services, production work, completed products, or other services already provided.
Da Mouse Trap Graphics may provide payment processors, banks, or financial institutions with relevant documentation when responding to a payment dispute or chargeback.
Such documentation may include:
- Quotes
- Invoices
- Receipts
- Customer approvals
- Design proofs
- Emails
- Text messages
- Production records
- Pickup records
- Shipping records
- Photographs of completed work
- Other documentation related to the transaction
Fraudulent, abusive, or knowingly false payment disputes may result in the customer being declined for future service and may be addressed through any remedies available to Da Mouse Trap Graphics under applicable law.
